Best to fly in via Brussels Airport (35 min drive to Aalst or public transport). Alternatives that are not to far away: Charleroi Brussels South (60 min drive, bad connection to public transpot) or Lille/Rijsel (60 min drive, bad connection to public transport) - Book your tickets in advance!
By public transport
Most international trains halt at Brussels-Midi (Brussel Zuidstation) - from there hop on a train in the direction of Ghent/Ostend that stops in Aalst
By car
As Aalst/Belgium is vey close by for many European tablers, you could travel by car - just follow your GPS and drive safely.
